Hollowell is Joe Denges, Matt Hulet, Dusty Shiefelbein, and Justin Dike. As a band they've been playing together since 2003, but their musical connection to each other is rooted in the mid 90's. Many believe this is why Hollowell's style is most comparable to the mid-late 90's sounds of U2, Dishwalla, and the like. Beginning in 2005, Hollowell opened a new chapter in their career with a European and Middle East tour for America's deployed troops. Every year since, they've had the honor of going back to visit and entertain their brothers and sisters over seas solidifying another aspect of Hollowell's identity; one of utmost respect and appreciation for the service men and women of the United States. Hollowell is currently holding tight to the local Orange County scene while it gears up for what may prove to be the largest stage in its evolution.
