Jamie was born in Newport Beach on September 22, 1992. As a little girl she would bang on pots and pans on the floor of the kitchen. She took a great interest in Travis Barker, the drummer from the band Blink 182.She was so greatly influenced by the music of the band, that the following year she picked up a guitar,a bass guitar, and a drum set. After a couple of years playing she finally decided upon the drums, since thats what she truly fell in love with. Since then she has stuck to it. Jamie started off self taught until thirteen, when she was put in drum lessons for three months. After taking some lessons, she decided she wanted to do everything on her own with her own style. When Jamie was fourteen, she joined a hardcore band named Silenced Conviction. Shortly after, Jamie was asked to become a music instructor at the OC Children’s Music Academy, being the youngest instructor of them all. Her sophmore year of High School was spent on drumline as bass drum. The following year she formed a band called Freedom to Fall, they were booked in a range of cities and even countries such as China and Canada. Freedom to Fall began playing by the shore in Huntington Beach, Where they hit the front page of the newspaper as,“A Hit on Mainstreet.” Juggling school pushed Jamie into making the decision to take a break from her music. She has recently gotten back on her feet playing, recording, and performing once again.
