Originally from Folsom, California, Janet grew up completely infatuated with dance and had a love of performing. She grew up dancing at "Off Broadway Dancing" in Folsom, California, a versatile dance company centered around the necessity of technique in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and performance. From the young age of ten she has had a hunger for making her own work come alive. By fifteen she was apprenticing her teachers to take on teaching her own classes. Within the following year she took the opportunities to teach various types of dance and choreograph pieces for recitals, competitions, and concerts. For children as young as four years old to adult she was able to share her passion and drive for life with them. Being able to be creative and design dances with real stories and meaning is the basis of her choreographing ideals.

She was then accepted to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy which opened up the possibilities for her Broadway dream. Recently she learned of her soprano voice and has a new love for singing and acting. Janet thrives on being a triple threat dancer, singer, and actress. She graduated from the Musical Theatre program at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in spring of 2008. Currently residing in Los Angeles, she is continually pursuing her dreams and goals to becoming a Broadway starlette and a fierce choreographer.
