A: Did my mother submit this question? I am huge; you just might not know it yet. That is to say, I'm in integrity with myself, I'm willing to work hard, and I'm gonna walk the road that's right for me, just do what's true.
I'm not insinuating that anyone on those shows is cheating it or out of intergrity, but we've got to continue raising awareness...like Cody says, it ain't Rock and Roll if we don't disagree, Taoism, dualities...I've just got to stay focused. I got folks voicing doubts and opposition while they're sitting in front of the television. I just try to accept the opposition with grace, because it serves. I think personal responsibility, and realizing within yourself the power to create your world...I think it's overwhelming, and people would often rather not deal with it. One might look down or think less, without even realizing it, about the cat out there playing tunes on the street, because they've chosen to focus on what's piped into the living room. But what if the TV was turned off and they say "I'm gonna go find some music to move me..." Besides man, I'd suck on one of those things. Can you imagine Bob Dylan doing Idol? Ha! And I'm no Bob. More than anything else, I'd imagine he'd regard it as irrelevant. Its relevance is with regard to notoriety, to fame. That's an uncomfortable enough idea for me, but I think if one must be recognizable, one had best consider what they care to be recognized for, and what exactly is being recognized.
