Violet von Dutch

Performing Art – Brisbane

With her eyes as dark as rich chocolate, an ass that is all sass, hips that sway, a bosom to rock you with and a smile that can knock you into next week, Miss Violet may look tantalising (and she is), but she's definitely not sweet.. Violet began her burlesque journey in 2014 at Lady Marlene's School of Arts, where she specialised in burlesque (both neo and traditional) and boylesque. She has snuggled in and found her niche in burlesque on the darker side. Violet can be cheeky, sassy, naughty or smouldering depending on her mood; she will tantalise you, she will wink and take you into her (under)world of cheekiness and dark which will leave you salivating. She is also a proud performance and committee member of Ferocious Queer Burlesque, a gorgeous group of queer and allied performers who strut their stuff in Brisbane, QLD. Violet debuted as a solo performer in June 2015 at Pink Bits 2 - a charity fundraiser for the National Breast Cancer Foundation with a choreography that stopped everyone in their tracks. She has performed all over Brisbane (Press Club, New Globe Theatre, The Loft, Fringe Bar, Scarlet, Steampunk Charity Ball) and surrounds as a performance artist and as a sought-after model. Violet is currently choreographing for the Celebration of the Female Form to be held in June and various other performance art gigs. And how much does she love an appreciative audience?! Performer, choreographer, promoter, producer, model, visual artist - whats not to get you all excited?! Interested? Then step this way...
