The WaaQuettes consist of dance artists that were brought together through their shared love of Waacking.
Waacking is a social dance that emerged in the 1970\'s to disco music. This style could be found in the underground dance clubs of L.A in the 1970\'s.
Waacking has brought to the surface; confidence, inner beauty, love, passion and character for each and every one of us. There is no better way for us to express ourselves than through the art of dance and specifically this style.
We dance for ourselves as well as for others. We hope to inspire others around us to do what they love to do, to embrace their differences and to express themselves confidently. Each and every one of us within the WaaQuettes are different and experienced life differently and we are able to share that with each other through the art of Waacking.
