Jonathan (J-wan) Pattiwael

I am a dancer/filmmaker and I am originally from Indonesia. I moved to Austin Texas in December of 2003 and attended high school there. I am now back in Austin after some time away. I am a self-trained movement artist in many different genres- first and foremost in breaking. But also including: classical ballet, Hawkins technique, Hula, French Polynesian, New Zealand Haka and many others. I am developing a new approach to movement art and movement kinesthetics. I have competed and performed in New York, Atlanta, New Orleans, Austin, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Monica and Hamburg, Germany.
