Brandi better known now as Bahiyah started in the fashion industry over 20 years ago as a model. She modeled for JC Penney’s and Macy’s during her later years. She have done many runway shows, print ads and music videos throughout her modeling career. After starting a family, Bahiyah changed her focus from modeling to fashion consulting. She enjoyed fashion, but rather being in the background instead of the forefront at this time. Over the years many individuals thought that Bahiyah’s talents was being wasted and that she should start her own line. So, after many years of consideration Bahiyah started Bahiyah Epifania Fashion. Bahiyah wanted her line to be different, but modern. She chose the name Bahiyah Epifania because it is Swahili, Bahiyah meaning Beautiful and Epifania meaning awakening/realization. She thought the name would be fitting for her fashion that will give people just that. Bahiyah Epifania fashion was started in January 2013 in an effort to bring African fabric to life. The designs that you see today have been stored up over the years and is just surfacing. The line is expanding to include men, women, children, accessories and even specialty clothing. Bahiyah image for her clothing is that anyone can wear them on a daily basis and not feel as they are scrutinize. They are clothing African-inspired clothing with a modern feel.
