My name is Karen Batchelor a hairstylist in Englewood New Jersey. I have being gifted to use my hands to touch lives over the past years. I\'ve work on developing my craft to get the best results everyday. I started off as a shampoo girl/ salon assistant. While I was assisting I applied and went to cosmetology school where I got my certificate to become a professional hairstylist After receiving my license, I went to work for another salon which allowed me to practice my craft while getting paid. After two years of practicing, I left and open my own salon where I remained for ten years. Hoping to get my break in celebrity hair styling, I do free fashion shows, photo shoots, magazine shoots... for years just to get my foot in the door. However my break has not happened, but I love what I do. I live for a Hairgasim. That\'s when I have a satisfied client and even if they show no expression, when I look at my work and starts to compliment my self I know I got it. Being a motivated, driven, ambition talented individual, I look forward to the challenging clients everyday, who helps me build my hair designing skills which to me is one step to being a better hairstylist.
