Visual Art – Portland
I began illustrating at the age of 4 when I started writing and drawing my own children\'s books. I was always at the top of my class as an artist. In high school I served as advertising manager for the school newspaper, student council artist and headed as president of art club. I earned my bachelors degree at Pacific Northwest College of Art , where I majored in Illustration. After college I worked diligently to find my way and develop my own style as an illustrator.
Currently, I have 2 self published children\'s e Books on Amazon.com, as well as another commissioned children\'s book on the way. I also have multiple coloring books and cards published by Pomegranate Kids, which I rendered the artwork for. Among these published books, I have done many album covers for music, greeting cards, original artwork and prints. I also work as an after school art instructor for a non profit organization called Fine Art Starts, dedicated to keeping the fine arts in the schools.
