Parisa
Fashion – Indianapolis
l was born & raised in a Persian family in the spring of 1970. It was
early in my childhood that I realized my gift for art and fashion. When I
was in third grade my mother who was my mentor in my life taught me to
make clothes for my dolls using her sewing machine. I began art lessons at
the age of 12, At 15 I had a private art tutor from Mexico who taught me
oil painting techniques and 3D art work. During my senior year I attended
a French-style design at a fashion design school . In The fall of 1998 we
moved to the capital of Iran, Tehran where I went to Moka-ab, a private
fine arts and graphic institute. I studied theater, painting & drawing
for 3 years. In the year of 1994 I got married & moved to the United
States. In 1997 I took some computer graphic classes at Ivy Tech College
in Terre Haute, Indiana. Then in November of 2009 I opened my
studio. Since 2011 I had participated to US and international fashion shows
including, Baltimore Fashion Week, Midwest Fashion Week, Atlanta
International Fashion Week, MedModa International Fashion Event in Sicily,
Italy. I love to create and my mind is always working for new ideas. It
is a dream come true for me to have my own studio and travel to showcase
my designs. I\'m currently working on having Parisa Collections go
national. That is my ultimate dream!!
I call my creations,\" Wearable Art\"
