Visual Art – Minneapolis
Creating abstract environments out of my imagination, using mainly acrylic and spray paint to construct these images. Beginning each new piece without a set plan allows my work to be formed by spontaneous splashes of vibrant color schemes or patterns layered on top of one another. Each piece becomes an unexpected adventure adding creatures and characters along the way giving the work its own personality. I enjoy using tedious details in attempt to overwhelm the viewer with aesthetics and colors that can almost be hard to look at, while at the same time so intriguing that they can not help but stare longer at the work, until it consumes them.
