Meekayll Boyd is a 24 year old charcoal artist from the small town of Starkville, Mississippi. He dreams that through his artwork he may help others. The meticulous nature of his work and process is grounded in realistic renderings, and his subject matter ranges from portraits and still life to conceptual. In 2010, Meekayll placed third in the Mississippi State Congressional Art competition. In 2012, he was published in the book Art Takes Times Square. He has also recently been voted to have his work displayed on Taxi-E in The Netherlands by newmasterartist.com .
