Cindy Liu

My pottery is inspired by shapes and colours I enjoy that I believe can bring joy to people. I like to use motifs and textural components to add interest visually as well as to enhance the sense of touch when a piece is being held. I found love for wheel throwing in 2015 as soon as I started classes at the local art center in Calgary, AB. It became my spare time hobby with a couple breaks in between. In 2020, I started focusing on expanding my skills for everything clay related and finally making good use of my home studio. I currently wheel throw and handbuild - actualizing my ever growing list of design ideas, while learning and experimenting.
