Visual Art – San Francisco
I am born and raised in the Bay Area. I have been working as a professional artist since 2010 and am completely self taught. Art has always intrigued me in the ability to give expression to the inner spirit. I have always fumbled with words in expressing myself so I turned to art to paint a portrait of myself and my ideas. Art gave me a direction in which to not only express myself but to learn a craft and master techniques with various tools. I don't want to be just a great painter, I want to be able to create over various mediums and with multiple tools. With each new craft I learn it builds my confidence and technique in all the other crafts I also pursue. Being a versatile artist is what I believe gives me the ability to fully express my inner visions. It has been a long hard fought journey to where I am now, but I love my path and my ability to create my life through my vision, and I am thankful for all the opportunities I have been given and that I have had to fight for.
