Photography – Newcastle
I'm a self-taught photographer from the Central Coast and Newcastle region. My passion for photography was sparked by a road trip around Australia, taking in the beauty of what our great nation has to offer. From then, I have used photography as a creative outlet to capture both the places and the people that create some of my most precious memories.
By day, I study Diagnostic Radiography, and by combining both my passion for capturing images and my desire to connect with people, I am able to get to know a person inside and out - literally.
It is not the process of taking an image that I love the most about photography. It is the power of the resultant image to connect people together, to create joy and to spark wonder and curiosity.
My style is very focused upon creating a beautiful image in the moment - and the more unexpected the moment, the better. The serendipitous nature of some of these shots reflects how spontaneous life can be.
