A Face of Many, a Face of None

Visual Art – Melbourne

As a Melbourne based artist, art therapist, writer and rival of societal norms, Talia Van Horssen's current work aims to challenge the way we identify with ourselves and those around us. Through conscious embodiment and artistic portrayal of different archetypes, Talia displays that our identity isn’t fixed, and is rather in a state of constant fluctuation. Inspired by Carl Gustav Jung’s theory on archetypes, Talia’s series of self-portraits answers the globally resounding question of “who am I?”, with her own – Who aren’t we?
