Alondra is a Toronto-born Cross-disciplinary artist primarily focusing on photography, painting, and textiles. She currently studies at OCAD University, majoring in Drawing and Painting. Alondra recently won Figurework's honorable mention for a collaborative film. Alondra has won 19 Scholastic’s Arts and Writing Awards, including one Gold Key Award for an Art Portfolio, three Gold Key Awards for Photography, five Silver Key Awards for Photography, and one Silver Key Award for Painting. Her work was selected for Propeller Gallery's juried exhibition during Nuit Blanche in 2014. Alondra was a speaker at ART TALK 4 at OCAD University in 2015. She had her solo show Stitching Time at Propeller Gallery in June of 2017. Alondra's work is published in the academic book Development of Dystopic Scenarios. In 2018 photography was published in Wot Is Art? Magazine, A5 Magazine, and PhotoEd Magazine.
