Amanda Oleander is a Los Angeles based fine artist. Oleander's artwork became internationally recognized after working for E! Entertainment as their first in-house illustrator illustrating for their articles in 2014. Oleander became a full-time artist in 2015. She broadcasts her process on the live streaming app, Periscope. Oleander's art became viral after she gained a following of over half a million followers and attention in the media. She has been featured in The New York Times, Seventeen, Cosmopolitan, Vanity Fair, and The Hollywood Reporter to name a few. You can follow her on Periscope at @AmandaOleander to tune into the process of her pieces. Amanda dabbles in many mediums but concentrates mostly on her figurative, acrylic paintings. She is very passionate about her Endangered Species Collection. Oleander is a partner with Greenpeace and The World Wild Life Fund. Her Endangered Species Collection is a series of paintings inspired by endangered species and the digital age. For each painting sold an animal of that species is symbolically adopted through the World Wild Life Fund. The art collector receives the painting with the certificate of authenticity along with the adoption certificate from WWF after the adoption has been processed.
