Photography – Jersey City

I am originally from Buffalo, New York, and grew up on the lower east side of Buffalo where opportunities are limited. College, a career, and making a living off of creativity is unheard of in the area where I grew up. Photography has been with me since I was really young. My parents are creative, not photographers, but we all love photos. Art has always been with me during school, and for high school I made sure I was able to study photography. I went on to earn my B.A. in Media Production. Cinematography was my first interest for a career, but I got back to my photography roots, and wanted to go forward with fine art photography along side working in the film industry. I ended up in the NYC/NJ area after working on cruise ships. Once I got here I started to work toward building my own photography business. I am slowly growing, expanding, and also currently a scholarship member of the Salmagundi Fine Art Club of NYC, and I hope to enter the art festival circuit very soon. My photography has a lot of nature in it, but I am working on doing more portraiture. I experiment a lot with the subject matter, editing software, and the type of print I use to present my work. I also have a love for doing panorama work.
