AmSouL

I am Amanda Murray, one Miami-based artist behind AmSouL. I am an alumni of DASH (Design and Architecture Senior High) in the Design District of Miami and School of Visual Arts in the heart of Manhattan, New York. I worked as an interventionist, tutor, graphic designer, and artist one year later. This past summer I worked hard to start a small art camp called Experimental Art Camp in Miami Shores to give children the chance to experiment and push the endless possibilities in art mediums. I describe myself as an interdisciplinary visual artist that create with a vision from the Soul. My current art focus is taking my observations and my reality translating it into paintings. The tools that I use to develop my work are not limited to any one medium. I hope that people can take away from it is that my art is a reality we may not be aware of every day but exist. Viewers say that my art is bold, bright, abstract, and relatable. My goal is to change perspectives that may not be thought about and sometimes not heard.
