My name is Amy. I am a professional hoop dancer and Fire performer in Houston, TX. Hoopdance is my passion. I have devoted countless hours to perfecting my craft. During my first year hooping I was nominated for ‘New Hooper of the Year’ on the world’s top hooping website, www.hooping.org , and won a scholarship to ‘The Hooping Academy’ from teachkidstohoop.com. It was a very exciting year for me! Since then, I launched my website, started making and selling custom dance hoops, performing and teaching weekly classes for adult hoop dance students in Houston. I also became an official sponsored hooper for the clothing company, Little Atoms Clothing and was featured on Houston\'s local news channel, NEWSFIX 39. Today, I spin LED smart hoops which leave amazing patterns in the night sky. I also spin single, double and triple hoops, fire hoops, Fire fans and an LED levitation wand.
