Visual Art – Vancouver

A very long time ago I told my parents I wanted to be an artist. Through my youth I would continue to paint and draw, taking every class I could to get inside the art studio. Post graduation I went to a local college for further artistic studies, and finally transferring to NSCAD where I earned my BFA with a painting major. After this I felt compelled to add another skill set to my repertoire with a graphic design diploma. My experience with different styles and mediums through the years has allowed me to develop a style in my painting practice that reflects a personal connection with memory and perception. I have included aspects of traditional and contemporary portrait painting with an abstract approach to composition and ties to graphic art. Though my painting is the centre piece to my practice, I offer graphic design, photography services and design graphics for t-shirts and other objects.
