Kelly Schultz is the owner, designer and milliner for Angeline Alice Millinery & Fashions. She named her business after her two grandmothers, Angeline Freichels and Alice Grubich. Those two women lived in an era where women wore hats and dressed up to go everywhere and that is what inspired Kelly's hat making and fashion design.
Kelly was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. For the past 15 years, she and her husband Brian have called Bemidji home. My mom taught me to sew when I was eight and the rest is history.
Her passion is making hats, fascinators and accessories, but she also dabbles in alterations and designing clothing. Kelly's one of a kind millinery creations were inspired by the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Since April 29, 2011, she has created hundreds of unique fascinators and hats.
Some of her favorite embellishments and textiles to use in my creations are feathers from birds native to Minnesota, ribbon, buttons, silk, satin, and rhinestones. Every item Kelly makes is unique and you will never find another one exactly like it.
Besides fashion, her other obsession is sports, which she makes her living. Kelly has been the radio play-by-play announcer for Bemidji State women’s hockey since 2007 on the Beaver Radio Network.
