Anne Stiebing

I am an art teacher and fiber artist, recently relocated to Vermont. I use found objects and materials in most of my work which takes many forms; quilting, basketry, bookmaking, sculpture and jewelry. Combining found objects with processes and forms which seem contradictory in nature creates contrast and balance in my work. Masculine to feminine, man-made to natural, sturdy to fragile and geometric to organic.
