Apotheca Beadery, or abbreviated as AB&V is a sole proprietorship small business start-up that is dedicated to making unique, iconoclastic beads and jewelry for a wide range of audiences with the intent of raising environmental awareness and benefitting socioeconomically disadvantaged women and Domestic Violence survivors. Our dream is to bring the handmade forefront to scale and create an artistic army of empowered women who through art and beauty embody progress and sheer power to stand against any and every obstacle and create a more entrepreneurial economy. Apotheca Beadery has existed for a little more than a year now, previously known as The Queen Bead, where I made paper beads. The company has expanded to creating jewelry now also. We strive to create beauty from chaos.
In the future I want to create a moving and breathing project where women come together to create jewelry and beads and with their stories on their work, we will distribute for sale to other businesses so that they may progress and be able to lead great lives and finish school and take care of their kids and not be held down by their circumstances anymore.
