I started out as an interior designer in the early nineties. My factory and outlet were in my garage, and I had a small staff. Because of my unique product, fantastic color and impeccable quality, the business grew well and swiftly, until I was taking on prestigious projects all over India. After a stint of 25 years in the decor industry in India, now, here I am in the United States, with my brand Arachne (pronounced: Araa-k-ney). Through Arachne, I am spreading the gospel of fashion and doing what I do best: imbibing the spirit of color and pattern into everyday wear. My scarves, bags and jewelry are an extension of my creativity, and I now have a store on Etsy where I market these products.
