Arcades and Lions are an indie-rock band from Newcastle, Australia. The 4 piece consistently provide a high-energy stage performance, leading to an immersive crowd experience, captivating audiences at every show. Comprised of Tim Walker on vocals and guitar, Cal Glendenning on lead guitar, Hayden Jarrett on bass guitar and Darren James on drums, the band lays down a wall of sound with strong dynamics and thoroughly layered original songs. Since forming in mid-2015, the band have released two singles to great reception. ‘When She Wakes Up’ (January) and the second ‘Tattoo’ (February) have added familiarity to their live set, charting on the ‘Triple J Unearthed’ charts (#6 and #28 respectively). The band and fans alike wait in anticipation for their first three-track EP release ‘Idle Dreams’, set for mid-2016, which is set to continue a whirlwind 2016 for the young band.
