Visual Art – Miami
Born in 1990, Sophie Wong is a graduate of New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida. Following graduation, she continued on to attend SUNY Purchase college of New York where she focused on Painting and Photography before beginning her art career.
She primarily uses paintings and mixed media to analyze the different complexities of the human experience. Humanity, culture and the journey of finding oneself are themes often expressed in her work. She explores her personal connection with the natural world to unravel her own truth and curiosity around the duality of indigenous culture and practice in the context of modern day society.
