Visual Art – Washington, D.C.
Ashley VanGemeren is a multi-disciplinary artist working and living in Central Maryland. Throughout her practice, she works in painting, sculpture, book arts, photography, and performance art. With a love of narratives and portraiture, she sees each piece as an extension of self, often reflecting personal experiences and stories based off romantic and internal relationships.
She earned her BFA in Fine Art at the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design/George Washington University in 2015.
