Visual Art – Orange County

"Aylee" is a mostly self-taught watercolor artist with an academic background in studio art. As an avid equestrian for more than 18 years, Aylee draws much of her inspiration from horses and nature and combines those passions with her tetrachromatic perception of color. Aylee has had her watercolor "Stained Glass" featured on the cover of Calliope:Art & Literary Magazine of Chapman University. Additionally, Chapman hosted an exhibit titled "Palette of Perception" for three and a half month which included eleven original watercolors. Aylee's artwork seeps into other mediums as well; as the writer A. Leigh Corbett, she has produced 14 published books, nine of which are poetry and home to over 850 poems. Aylee is also an aspiring slap guitarist.
