Visual Art – Victoria

Barb started taking some classes in Watercolor Painting in the Fall of 2012 and had the opportunity to show her first paintings at a student art show in the Spring of 2013, and to her surprise, sold all 12 paintings she had entered! Since then, Barb has painted several commissioned pieces, one of which was Fisherman’s Wharf (Victoria, BC). Due to it’s popularity, she has reproduced this piece and sells 18x24 mounted prints, as well as 5x7 cards which sell at Fisherman’s Wharf. This card, along with several other printed cards also sell at the Coast Collective Art Centre in Victoria. She loves the fluidity and transparency of watercolor, and mounts her work without glass, allowing the richness of the colours to show without glare.
