BEAUSHELLE

BEAUSHELLE is the creative colllection of Elle Lewis, a Dallas-based artist specializing in fiber art and painting. She has been slowly building her style over the years - through weaving courses, loom work, knitting, and exploring vintage and native fiber works. Her line of Dreamers and Shields are a melange of Native American, Middle American, and Americana styles, imbued with positive energy and unique touches like handwritten blessings and altar shelves. Her paintings have followed a long journey, evolving grandually as a post-grad in her own studio practice - searching for the inspiration the reverberated with her soul. Her recent interest in the universe and its magnificent structures has grown into her Interstellar Series - a balanced tension of free fluid works and intentional control, expressing the deep darkness of space, the glittering light, exploding nebulae, galactic arms, and then pulling away from outer space theme, with ghosts of painterly strokes, raw canvas peeking through, and the balance of composition.
