Benita Bünger

Performing Art – Los Angeles

Benita is an artist, performer and explorer, who prides herself on being genuine with everything she takes on in life. Although honesty might be the biggest fear for most people it has always been her largest motivator. She is curious by nature and finds joy in surprises, new lessons, different cultures and any food that includes cheese as an ingredient. Her fancy bio includes information such as the fact that she is born in Denmark and is classically trained at The Royal Danish Ballet, with whom she has performed hundreds of performances, all over the world including the Palais Garnier in Paris, Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg, the Royal Opera House in Oman, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC, Olso Opera House and the David Koch Theater in New York City. She has been fortunate performed spectacular pieces such as Kylián’s Falling Angels, Bournonville’s Napoli and La Sylphide and Twyla Tharp’s Come Fly Away. Proudest is she of her Chicago performances as the Swan Queen in Balanchine’s Swan Lake at the Harris Theatre with Ballet Chicago and Dream Laurey in the musical Oklahoma at the Marriott Theatre.
