Birds of a Feather Designs

Accessories – Orange County

As a child I spent most of my time outside, whether I was climbing tress, picking dandelions, rescuing snails and rollie-pollies from death by human foot, or building and creating small structures and shelters from dead leaves and twigs, I was always exceptionally connected to Mother Earth. My connection has only grown and developed over the years, especially following my time at CSU Monterey Bay, where I volunteered to help remove invasive plant species, and studied Creative Writing and Social Action, with an emphasis on environmental understanding and conservation. I spent countless hours pruning trees and writing poetry under their shade, and developed an indescribable appreciation and respect for them. I began collecting specimens and constructing designs in 2009, and my craft and style have grown and developed with each passing year. I hope you love and appreciate what I create, and relay my message to respect the earth, take from it only what we need, and waste as little as possible.
