my work follows cycles... a constant ebb and flow of energy and experience that dictates both content and production. the pieces i’m currently creating are challenges of composition, material manipulation and cathartic expression. how can i give meaning to these inanimate objects that surround me? how can i honor what i’ve been through? and more practically, how can i effectively live amidst an ever growing collection of raw materials without losing my damn mind? spontaneous inspiration is everywhere and only adds to this internal dialogue, this ongoing noise that drives me to finally stand up and show that blank canvas what’s what.
