Brief Awakening sounds like a tree of soulful songbirds with a message of equality swaying in an indie breeze but anchored in roots of folk and rock. Formed in September of 2008, brief awakening danced into the Boston local music scene playing numerous clubs and venues such as The Middle East, P.A\'s Lounge, T.T the Bears and many more.
The music of brief Awakening is blissfully melodic, featuring complex song writing, dual-lead female vocals rich with harmony, and a grounding rhythmic force. Lyrical subjects range from the poetically personal to the fight for equality and justice for all people.
