Carmela Zampieri

Since I was a small girl, I collected magazines and dreamed of one day styling the models in them. Today that dream is a goal. Since my RAW showcase in February I have worked with celebrity personalities from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Megan Joy of American Idol, competed in Shear Styles Hair Competition, trained under NAHA winner and my personal mentor Jeremy McDougal, and continued to build my portfolio doing editorial style photo shoots. Through working on set I discovered my passion for the entire photo shoot process which led me to continue building a portfolio that illustrates my talents in hairdressing, makeup artistry, fashion design, photography and editing. In July I was a Beacon Honorable Mention, a Pro Beauty division of the North American Hairstyling Awards. I was able to attend NAHA, and have plans to enter the competition again this year. This industry is my passion and I am both honored and humbled by the experiences it has brought me! I am so honored to be nominated for RAW Artist of the Year and I look forward to continuing to work and grow with RAW!
