Carrie Kraszewski

Visual Art – Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA native Carrie Kraszewski is best known for her detailed illustrations using ink, watercolors and acrylic gold accents. Her long standing 'Goddess' series depict beautiful feminine figures covered in foliage, bones, fur, insects, and various other organic elements found in nature. These carefully chosen objects represent feminism, self-Image, mental illness, and sensuality. Highly influenced by nature, beauty, and human sexuality, she aims to be unapologetic with her graphically exposed female figures that are "perfectly imperfect." Currently, Carrie continues exploring themes of spirituality, surrealism and rawness of the natural form.
