Gabë Saldivar is an American musician songwriter, jeweler-silver/metal smithing, photographer, welder and artist designer. In 1999, Gabë launched a music production company Terror Crew Productions in Dallas,Tx and with many years of success in establishing as a household name he decided to get back into playing music. By 2006 he was playing with Rivethead and after releasing there 4th self-titled album it was nominated for a Grammy that same year. A lot of the songs can still be heard at the Dallas Stars games, Lex and Terry show (nationally syndicated), Gene Simmons Family Jewels (A&E), XM Radio, Real World vs. Road Rules, MTV and VH1. After leaving the music business he set eyes onto other creative ideas and having always loved photography he decided to take it up as a hobby. He decided to take up courses at New York Institute of Photography and after a couple of years he set off to start Seventy-One Photography in 2010. Gabë has worked with thousands of clients over the years and continues until this day. So lets take it back a bit in time, Gabë started welding as a kid because his dad is a genius at welding and even to this day he still learns from his father. In 1989 his dad opened up a welding shop in Dallas and so as a high school student he started to learn the trade of welding. By 1990 he got into some more technical advances of welding and still uses his talents today. Gabë also is a certified welder holding 3 ASME Section IX WELD cards and is also a Welding Visual Inspector ANSI. One thing that he likes to do is just build things no matter if its metal or wood. So making the decision to make everything all under one name was a no brainer. New Year New Beginning starts right here with CARTEL ARTISTRY.
