Visual Art – Phoenix

Catherine Beaudoin is a young artist currently residing in Phoenix, Arizona. She received her arts degree with multiple honors from Washington & Jefferson College, just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her curiosity has led her to experiment with several mediums including oil, pastel, pencil, and ink. Though they are not her primary mediums, Beaudoin also enjoys working with acrylic, resin, fine metals, and ceramics. Beaudoin's diverse portfolio utilizes various aesthetic and conceptual juxtapositions. This intensifies her narrative, compels her audience, and elevates the experience of her own creations. When it comes to her artistic concepts, Beaudoin draws upon her conceptual realm for genre, her intellectual and social convictions for theme, and then pairs her choice of medium to maximize each work's grandeur. Beaudoin's perpetual interest in the arts has not only led her to continuously experiment and play with different mediums, but it has also fueled her additional passion of teaching art at a Title 1 school in the city of Phoenix.
