CHALWAH began in 2016 as a collaboration between an Oakland-based husband and wife. Combined with a dream for economic independence and fulfilling passions, we were inspired to bring our culture and talents to life in CHALWAH. We handcraft beautiful smoking pipes and lifestyle accessories out of upcycled organic materials such as seashells, coconuts, bamboo and more. Our style originates from the islands of the sea, where the people are more readily one with nature and utilize every gift it has to offer, leaving nothing to waste. This simple elegance of natural beauty is self-evident in all CHALWAH products and is a bit of inspiration to return to the source in all you do.
