Visual Art – Sydney
Claudia is a self taught freelance artist who explores a wide range of mediums. From a very early age, Claudia always had a love for drawing. She was predominantly influenced by her mum who is a landscape artist and always had an abundance of art supplies lying around. Her illustrations developed outside of her schooling years where it became an escape from the pressures of growing up and the mundanities of everyday life. She studied a Bachelor of Design Computing in 2015 and attended a Master Class in Digital Painting with Ev Shippard in 2018. Claudia’s practice continues to develop, combining hand drawn mediums (ink, charcoal, graphite, posca pens and water colour) with digital technology (Photoshop, InDesign). Over the years, she has been commissioned to do portraits, surfboards, LP covers and logos. She has recently completed a challenge of 100 sketches in 100 days and is now embarking on 100 portraits in 100 days. She is currently on day 6.
