Visual Art – Atlanta

I was born and raised in a small town with an even smaller art community. I knew, even at an early age, that art was going to be a big part of my life. The urge to create did not fade with age as it does with many people, but it grew substantially. However, it wasn\'t until I moved to Athens to pursue a degree in painting that my creativity really exploded. I was exposed to all of the many shapes and forms art takes. I now use my work to say things about myself that I don\'t verbally express. I want people to know who I am (an anxious animal lover) and how I feel through my work. Sometimes this means making the viewer feel uncomfortable in the process, and I am a-okay with that.
