Cohee Jewelry

Accessories – Indianapolis

My name is Arthur Cohee. I grew up in a rural setting in Owen County, Indiana. I am a Viet Nam veteran and spent my career as a Metrology Engineer. I recently retired from engineering and now spend my time as a jewelry designer. It may seem an odd change from metrology engineering to jewelry design and silversmithing, but not really. Both work with exacting tolerances. Metal/wire working, soldering and working with hand tools are key skills. My father was a "rock hound" for most of his life. When he retired, he started a lapidary business and taught jewelry making classes. Little did I know that I would be following a similar path. I started designing jewelry in early 2017 and have been in business as “Cohee Jewelry” since October, 2017. Most of my current work is in sterling silver and semi-precious gemstones. I make most of my own settings, design components, clasps and extenders. Whatever findings I do not make are purchased from reputable dealers. Whenever possible I buy findings “Made in USA.”
