I was born in the bay area of California, and moved to the foothills of the Sierras just before kindergarden. I enjoyed exploring our 300acre mountain that we lived on, and got to know every nook and cranny-- let\'s just say my two sisters and I were masters at hide-n-go seek! A couple years after high school, I decided to move to Santa Cruz, where I met some incredible people, and still have relationships with today. The junior college there had an great art program, and I was very serious about photography as a medium, as well as studying art history, stage make-up, and liberal arts. My time in the Santa Cruz area really was a time of self-infliction, and to really engage and become aware of my interests, decision-making, and motivations. Two and a half years later, I was accepted to one of the best private-art-colleges in the country, and was packing my bags for San Francisco! My two years at SFAI studying photography were some of the most influential times of my life, to say the least. It was a place of considerable academics along with challenges in art making. It was exhausting, and wonderful, and liberating. I graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Art, Photography in December 2014. Now I am taking a slightly different approach with my creative process, and crafting! I am creating earrings from Lucite (resin). Its a retro-inspired process, that trends with vintage lovers, mainly in the rockabilly and pin-up crowd.
