Jessica White aka Cranky Pickle

Visual Art – Chicago

At the age of five I began drawing and painting to express my vision of the world. Motivated by my life-long passion for drawing, painting and designing, I graduated from the IIA in Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art in visual communication. This same year, I began my professional career as a freelance graphic designer. To nourish my artist appetites, I began my making unique dishes from re-purposed Vinyl records and bottle cap crafts. From my desire to cultivate my creativity, Cranky Pickle art evolved from and online store to showing and selling at Chicago street fest. Today, my “Cranky Pickle Art” consists of colorful, fun and unique original paintings, jewelry, and home decor made from re-purposed bottle caps, old VHS tapes, floppy disks, cassettes and vinyl records.
