Crissy grew up in rural Pennsylvania and moved to Colorado when she was 18 to attend the University of Colorado where she studied psychology and Italian. She lived abroad in Perugia, Italy for 2 years and eventually came back to go to grad school at the University of Denver and got her Masters in Sport and Performance Psychology. Crissy went on to own her own business in Colorado as a health and wellness consultant and yoga teacher. Some big life changes spurred a move to California and Crissy recently settled in Venice. When she moved to California, she felt compelled to pick up a brush and start painting her beautiful dog Marco. As much as he loves being a star, people really liked her work, and began to ask if she could paint their pets! She is actively and enthusiastically exploring this new and exciting creative outlet.
