Danielle Hofstetter

My work primarily explores texture and environment, examining my perceptions of space and memory. Many of my pieces portray my interest in the natural environment and a sense of belonging to the Northern Rivers area of NSW Australia, where i was born and grew up. My recent works evaluate comprehension of unknown environments, and my experience with travelling to foreign places. I have loved making things for as long as I can remember whether it is a drawing, a photograph or even an item of clothing. In 2012 I completed a Cert IV in Costume for Performance, before going on to study Art. I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts Visual Arts with Distinction in 2015. I intend to continue my journey with art and hope to explore new pathways in my future.
