Visual Art – Montréal

“Way before words or writing ever made the radar, people relied on art to communicate. Using it for its original purpose, I paint, and make digital art, as a running commentary on how I see numerous aspects of life, and how I think it can be. While creating artwork, I work laterally. I let the ‘walls’ I hit lead me through the artwork. This creates a natural flow that allows me to transfer my interpretations into a given piece. My background as a graphic designer and art director, plays a strong role in the shaping of the bold style, that complements the abstract, free approach, I continue to develop. Defining characteristics I find in my art include: unrestraint, vibrant color, and relatability. Given the free-formed nature of my work, I believe there’s a relationship with the emotion found within my artwork, rather than in the content itself. Through my art, I seek to bring myself together with all people, physically, mentally, and culturally. By traveling and making these connections, I believe that I can pass on these experiences, using my art as a neutral zone in which everyone can connect.”
